World AIDS Day

Today 'World AIDS Day' was observed at Sir Madanlal Institute of Nursing and Paramedical. The social stigma and taboo associated with AIDS was discussed by Teachers. In this context the Students were reminded their role as responsible Healthcare Professionals. Nursing Students also presentation and Act wherein they innovatively presented ways by which AIDS is spread.

  

Mother Dairy Plant Visit

SMGI Students pursuing the ANM Course visited the Mother Dairy plant situated at Saifai Road, Etawah and got a gist of the processes by which milk and dairy products are made available to the general public. It was a boon of knowledge under the technical guidance of the dedicated staff of Mother Dairy which started with a presentation on the technologies used on Dairy products followed by a detailed departmental visit. Students expressed their eagerness for more knowledge with various questions that were patiently answered by the Mother Dairy staff. It was a very fruitful visit, which culminated with students coming back with lots of practical knowledge. Nursing Tutors from the ANM department facilitated the entire visit to ensure proper discipline.
